This café is hands down the best in Srinagar! With a breathtaking location, stunning interiors, and the charm of Italian music in the background, it offers an experience like no other. Every dish on the menu is a masterpiece—whether it’s the rich and creamy Alfredo pasta, the perfectly crafted Pesto and Margherita pizzas, or the irresistible truffle fries. Even the mocktails are a delight! The best part? Consistency. No matter how many times you visit, the taste and quality remain unmatched. A true gem you’ll want to return to again and again!

A casual restaurant in a prime location where you can sit outdoors and enjoy the views of the Dal lake right across the street or sit indoors under the light of beautiful chandeliers. The food was excellent. We had stuffed morel mushrooms with a light cream sauce, a thin crust mushroom chicken and truffle pizza and fresh trout with tomato! My compliments to the chef!

Chakosi Makosi has a charming vintage vibe with green walls, floral sofas, and a cozy setup that makes you want to sit and unwind. Located right near Dal Lake, it's a peaceful little spot to relax with a coffee and enjoy the view. I tried the cold coffee and it was okay. Chilled, creamy, and topped with chocolate syrup that looked as good as it tasted. It did feel a bit more sugary than usual, but I managed. I also had a cappuccino which came with lovely latte art and a smooth, balanced flavour. Service was fine. Prices felt a bit on the higher side, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. A good place to take a break if you are looking for a quiet cup of coffee near the lake.
